Composing in the Wilderness has been the best experience of my life. The Alaskan landscape is stunning and the composers I met are now some of my closest friends. This was the most connected to nature, other composers, and myself I have ever felt. This trip was rejuvenating artistically and emotionally, and I would do it again in a heartbeat. If you have any interest in exploring nature and writing music, it does not get better than CitW.

Composing in the Wilderness gave me the courage to fully reconnect with a part of myself—an inquisitive, adventurous, and almost mystical part, that experiences the world around me with a ceaselessly childlike wonder. Once that part of you has been reclaimed, you will never dare to abandon it again.
